About the Counterpoint

The Counterpoint is a blog run by a poor college student whose only motivation is to opine on whatever he sees fit.

It will focus primarily on politics, current events, and sports (especially hockey and baseball). Other topics may come up every now and then, but mostly you'll see items of that nature. I probably won't talk about myself too much, unless something unusual happens to me that I feel I need/want to speak about. You won't find much in the line of everday happenings here.

Comments are fine, though I don't expect many. If you feel the need to comment, lets please keep the discourse civil and mature. We don't need to resort to name-calling and the like to make a point; we can all be adults, I would hope. Comments may be removed (somewhat arbitrarily) if I don't feel they add to the discussion.

If I post a fact that is incorrect or of questionable nature, shoot me an email and I will post an update to offer the other side of things. This is not the mass media; if I make a mistake I will correct it for all to see.
